The purpose of prayer is to help us begin to visualize what we want God to create.

Is there someone in your family, such as an in-law, with whom you don't quite get along?

Has family life gotten so rushed that exchanges are short and unsatisfactory?

Have your kids reached an age when they have little or nothing to say to you and do not seem interested in what you have to say?

In short, is there some person with whom you would like a better-feeling relationship?

If so, use this prayer to help you create a picture in your mind of sharing deep communication and establishing bonds of trust with that person or persons.

Visualize giving the best of yourself to that person and receiving the best in return.

Whatever you visualize consistently God will create.
