In the past life was hard and the life experience took people away from alignment with the joy of God which is the Source of their beings.
Because of this, many prayers of the past, with the exception of the joy and love celebrating Psalms, were composed from an attitude of grim unworthiness or joyless begging.
Today many of us live lives of prosperity and good health unparalleled in past centuries.
Today we can affirm our connection with Pure Joy and visualize all who suffer rising up out of that suffering.
This prayer reminds us that our Creator adores us and means for us to live in joyful experience and expansion of our beingness.
